Liam Green
Owner/director/lead coach

Green Wave Guiding is owned and operated by experienced paddler Liam Green who is a full-time paddlesports coach and guide based in Kingussie, right in the center of the amazing Scottish Highlands.

Liam has been passionate about all things on the water from a young age. A passion that began with canoeing, sailing, and windsurfing on a local reservoir in Devon at a weekend club.

Since then, he has always gravitated to all things outdoors beginning his outdoor career in 2010 working in various outdoor centers around England and France before settling into a full-time role in the Scottish Highlands.

This has led to experience guiding and coaching in some of the best locations Scotland has to offer. From multi-day canoe trips across the country and sea kayak expeditions around Scotland’s amazing coast to coaching, guiding, and exploring some of the country’s most amazing white-water rivers.

While enjoying paddling in all its forms Liam is a very passionate canoeist particularly specialising in OC1 boating.

The scene while relatively small in the UK is beginning to grow with Liam putting a lot of effort into promoting what these amazingly fun and specialist boats can do!
